Do you smell something sour? It may be the toxic behaviors you’re tolerating within your team and workplace. Address it quickly before it ruins the healthy culture you aim to have. This might require you to “clean house”.

Emotionally intelligent leaders work to keep morale high by nipping low emotionally intelligent behaviors (i.e. passiveness, bullying, passive-aggression, microaggressions, lack of accountability, low empathy, unpredictable behavior, etc) in the bud.

Your employees are watching. The longer you take to address the behavior/person, the more trust and safety is eroding from your team.

And, be mindful that there may be some residue left behind. The sooner you deal with it, the less stubborn the stain.
